Taurus .40 PT101 range report
 

Not bad for a $299 Pistol using el-cheepo monarch ammo. Third magazine, used the first two sighting it in (the sights are adjustable). 15 yards. The red circle is about 1 inch in diameter. Proof that you don't need a Kimber to hit the target :-).

I picked up a couple right before Christmas. I'm very pleased with the way they shoot. Of course, I like the Beretta 92 and its reliability, and I figured the PT-101 would perform similarly. I actually liked the way it shot better than my CZ P-06.

BTW - Nice shooting. I don't know what the hell's happened with my technique, but I can't put together groups like that from 15 yds anymore. I guess I need to practice more to offset the effects of getting older....

I can only do this one way: take about 15 seconds per shot. If I try shooting faster than this, my groupings go up by 2x to 3x.
